Sonneberg is one of important cities in Thuringia. It is well-known as a toy city, though it has nothing to do with Toys ‘R’ Us. This city has produced toys for children (and adults) around German, around Europe, and even around the world. In the past, almost all children in Germany definitely grew up with these toys. Some of them are fine dolls made from porcelain, train models, and wooden toys. These toys have been supporting the economical life of Sonneberg.
On the second Saturday of June this year, one of famous brands in train and railways model manufactures in Germany, Piko, gave its fans a chance to look up closer. It was a special event its fans had been waiting for months since the announcement. Not only they could see the newest model of train, wagon, and railways, but also a new idea in building the landscape, the constructions, an opportunity to buy wagon model, tools, and kits in a reatively low price or free of charge if we won the prizes. Now I am preparing the writing.
